Europe - I'm More Than a Celebrity - And I Demand Rescue - Dave Riverton
LIBRE-LIVRE
In his third published novel, Dave Riverton embraces the celebrity zeitgeist with his deliciously satirical mystery – I’m More than a Celebrity – and I Demand Rescue.
Playing to the ‘diva’ in his protagonists who are causing chaos across varying aspects of the real world,(and their associated security services), the author offers an ingenious and entertaining means to remove them and so end the damage they are causing to nations, the church and democracy.
With the remote island celebrity experience (with a difference) providing a platform to showcase the absolute worst in all contestants, I’m More Than A Celebrity brings to the fore the author’s ability to embrace the topical, turn it on its head with unexpected twists and turns, and deliver one of the most humorous and entertaining books you are likely to read this year.
Synopsis:
He is a royal prince causing irreparable damage to the monarchy. He has to go. So too the former president of the USA and a female priest threatening to break the male dominance of the Catholic Church. But how to remove them? Surely not on a reality television programme in front of the viewing millions?

About the author:
Dave Riverton was born and raised in Liverpool. He practiced as a dentist in Lincolnshire for many years, before becoming an honorary clinical lecturer for the University of Sheffield. He subsequently worked with NHS England. Married, and now a grandfather, he spends his time writing, working on the setting up of sporting and charity events and volunteering with both Cancer Research UK and 4x4 response. He is a great believer in how the fitness of body links to the fitness of the mind and, after some success in amateur tennis before sustaining a wrist injury, he now participates in as many running, cycling and swimming events as time – and his wife and four dogs – permit.
